Voici un article paru dans le magazine "Endurance" de juin 2010 sur les Championnats du Monde et la Coupe du Monde.

Le CO WOC, présent sur la finale O’Défi 2010, soutien la candidature Française pour les EYOC 2012.

29 Clubs, 11 régions représentées, 160 jeunes se sont retrouvés pour la finale nationale O’défi 2010 organisée cette année par le club Corrèze CO (Espace 1000 Sources à Bugeat) sous l’égide de la Fédération Française de Course d’Orientation avec le partenariat d’ERDF.

Le Comité d’organisation des WOC 2011, présent sur l’événement a réalisé la promotion des Championnats du Monde auprès des plus jeunes.

Cette  manifestation a été l’occasion de soutenir les projets d’organisations futures en CO et de communiquer sur les événements internationaux auxquels la FFCO s’est portée candidate :

 -     Les WOC 2011 (Championnats du Monde Seniors) qu’elle organisera en Savoie du 10 au 20 août 2011.

 -     Les EYOC 2012 (Championnats du d'Europe Cadet) pour lesquels le pays organisateur sera désigné le 12 août prochain, en Norvège, par la Fédération Internationale.
